Technology Transfer Paprican is a division of FPInnovations™. FPInnovations was formed on April 1, 2007; a result of the merger between the Forest Engineering Research Institute of Canada (FERIC), Forintek Canada Corp., and the Pulp and Paper Research Institute of Canada (Paprican). The mission of FPInnovations is to be the world leader in creating forest sector solutions to enhance the sector's global competitiveness. Critical to this mission is the transfer of new technology to the forest industry.
Paprican provides valuable technology transfer and cost-competitive research addressing both the short-term and strategic needs of FPInnovations Member Companies which manufacture pulp and paper products. Paprican routinely works with supplier organizations to transfer Paprican-developed technologies and expertise to its members' pulp and paper manufacturing facilities in order to create value. The institute is constantly seeking partners who have the skills and resources to effectively commercialize its technologies.
Technologies Available for Licensing Paprican's world-class research and development scientists and engineers produce award-winning breakthrough technologies related to the processing of cellulose into pulp, paper, energy, and chemicals.
