Paprican has created a new research resource for the forest and paper industry. Established in part by a Canadian Foundation for Innovation grant and the BC Knowledge Development Fund, EvaluTree™ is based in Paprican’s Vancouver Laboratory, with services also offered at the University of Northern British Columbia and the University of Victoria. It forms a network of wood and fibre quality experts and techniques that have the capability to address any issue in wood and fibre quality.

Paprican's Vancouver Laboratory hosts EvaluTree™ which builds on Paprican's expertise in fundamental wood and fibre analysis and processing. EvaluTree™ constitutes a critical strategic development to ensure long-term industry viability by enhancing opportunities through the development of an effective, market-driven fibre supply chain, based on value-added, competitive, eco-efficient products for Canada's forest industry.
